Version 1.7.0 and Later
Version 1.7.0 and later automatically refresh the installed license more frequently as it nears expiration or shortly after it has expired. You can also manually trigger a license refresh through the standard subscription interface. Refreshing a license retrieves the current license from the licensing service; it does not renew the license itself.
All Other Versions
Once a license expires, log in to your Deztec customer portal and select the license from the Licenses page. You will be presented with the available renewal terms. Once payment is complete and the license has been renewed, follow the steps below so your installation reflects the updated license.
Don’t see your license when you log in to your account? See Where’s My License? .
To use a renewed license, sign in to the server where the product is installed with an account that can modify the installation. Modifying the installation allows the installer to download and apply the updated license.
Update the installed license
-
On the server where the product is installed, open
Control Panel → Programs and Features. - Select the Deztec product and choose Change .
- Follow the installer prompts for Online / Automatic Activation .
On newer Windows versions, you can also use
Settings → Apps → Apps & Features
, select the installation, choose
Modify
, and follow the same activation flow.
Online activation is the recommended license-installation method when the server can access the licensing service. If it cannot, use Offline Activation.
